More Yummy Food!

Well this week went by fast. Love that its p day. Thanks for all the pics and letters. Mom I got your letter today in the mail. That means it got here last week sometime. Here are a bunch of pics, it’s taking really long to load them so the email won’t be as long this week. Not much has really happened. Did a lot of walking, and we have taught not very many lessons this week. We were in Asuncion for 2 days where I saw Elder Lamb, Heiner, and the others. He had his brass knucks, and he is getting some for me too haha and a switchblade. Watchout! Last night we went to San Miguel and it’s like an hour walk out there, the less active members live there, and that’s why they are less active, well really it’s because they are really lazy and don’t want to walk, but it is very cold here right now. The good thing is that winter here only lasts for like 2 months. Then it will get up to 40 C or for you in America 104 or higher.

So everyone here that we teach always tries to bash on us and prove us wrong, but then we get out the bible, their pride and joy. They are all just so stubborn. Sorry grandma, but it’s usually the Catholics and the people who just don’t believe in Jesus at all.  So last night when we got home from San Miguel we went over to see Vanessa and abuela and her little girl. We got there and abuela was brewin up something on the stove, and she was stirring it with a stick, like a fence board with slivers all over it. Then she said to Elder Moore, are you gonna eat this, you better cuz it you don’t I’m gonna plaster you with it. Then she asked him, is he going to eat it (referring to me) and she said ahh who cares, he´s in Paraguay, he´s gonna learn to eat it and like it.  It was nasty. It was like chewing on sand and dirt. If you can imagine this, it was hard and sort of soggy at the same time. Barf.

I know a lot of GuaranĂ....that’s how we do our contacts. In GuaranĂ. My comp can understand and speak it - - well not that good, but that’s what I’m gonna work on in like 2 months when I can speak Spanish like a boss!!!

Then we were walking to see the elders quorum pres, he hasn’t come to church in like a month. On the way to his house is right past a cemetery. They don’t burry the dead here. They all have their own shack that’s like 12x12. It has a door and windows and it looks like a small town.  It has old fashioned light poles and street signs. Just creepy!

Well sorry it was short, I’m going to go order my scripture cases finally. If you all want some, send me some money and what you want on them. They are 120mil each. Or you can get one quad. I don’t know how much the quad is but the 2 separate area about 50 bucks.

Love you all.
